Power and control cable for demanding applications

The HELUPOWER® 1000 RV-K cable is a flexible PVC cable designed for power and control connections in mechanically medium-duty installations. Designed to operate in various conditions – from dry rooms, through humid and wet environments, to direct laying in the ground or pipes. It will be suitable for use in mechanical engineering, conveyor systems, air conditioning equipment, and industrial automation.

This cable is particularly recommended where higher operating temperatures or voltages are required. Made of high-quality materials, and its outer jacket made of special PVC provides resistance to UV radiation, making it an ideal solution as a connection cable for mobile or portable devices and machines. It can also be used in stage and lighting applications.

Construction and properties

The HELUPOWER® 1000 RV-K cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring reliability and long-term operation. Copper conductors, XLPE insulation and a PVC outer jacket guarantee safe use and resistance to mechanical damage and external factors. The cable meets the requirements of IEC 60502-1, UNE 21123-2 and UNE HD 603-1 standards.

User parameters and installation

The HELUPOWER® 1000 RV-K cable with a cross-section of 2x240 mm² is metered, making it easy to precisely adjust the length to the installation needs. The minimum bending radius is 10x cable diameter for flexible applications and 4x cable diameter (up to 25mm²), 5x cable diameter (for diameters from 25mm² to 50mm²) and 6x cable diameter (above 50mm²) for stationary installations. The weight of one meter of cable is approximately 7.665 kg and its outer diameter is approximately 53 mm. This makes the cable easy to install and route, and its solid construction ensures a durable connection.
