This metered HELUPOWER® 1000 RV-K control and power cable is a versatile solution for flexible power connections under medium mechanical load. The cable is designed to operate in a variety of conditions – from dry rooms, through humid and wet environments, to direct laying in the ground or pipes. This makes it suitable for use on construction sites, in industry, and in automation installations.

Construction and properties for professionals

The cable is characterized by a 3+1/2 construction according to UNE 21123-2. It is made of un-tinned copper conductors (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295, IEC 60228 and BS 6360), insulated with XLPE type DIX 3 (UNE HD 603-1). Conductor identification is carried out in accordance with PN-HD 308 S2 (up to 5 conductors) and EN 50334 (above 5 conductors). The outer jacket is made of special PVC type DMV-18 (UNE HD603-1), which provides resistance to UV radiation, oils and high working temperature up to +90°C (flexible -5°C to +90°C, stationary -15°C to +90°C). The maximum short-circuit temperature is +250°C for 5 seconds.

This cable is available in a version with a protective conductor (G) or without it (X). Versions up to a cross-section of 10 mm² are produced without filler. The flame retardancy of the cable has been confirmed by tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and DIN EN/IEC 60332-1-2. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting. The operating voltage AC is U0/U 0.6/1 kV and DC U0/U 0.9/1.8 kV with a test voltage of 4000V.
