Construction and properties
The JZ-500 cable has 100 copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², insulated with special PVC (Z 7225). The conductors are twisted in parallel and marked with white numbers, which facilitates the identification of individual wires during installation. The outer jacket made of PVC (TM2) provides additional mechanical protection and resistance to external factors. Thanks to this, the cable is resistant to oils, chemicals and weather conditions – it can be used in dry, wet and humid rooms (but not outdoors). The cable construction allows its use in moderately mechanically loaded installations where flexibility and the absence of tensile stress are required.
Application and operating parameters
The JZ-500 cable is widely used in industrial equipment, control and measuring instruments, and electrical installations requiring a flexible connection of elements. It is ideal for connections in slowly moving systems where reliability and durability are essential. The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C (flexible), at a rated voltage of 500V. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter for stationary operation. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51 and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the low-voltage directive 2006/95/EG. Additionally, it meets the self-extinguishing and flame-retardant PVC tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1.
