Flexible control cable JZ-500 – reliability and versatility of applications

This flexible JZ-500 cable with a voltage of 500V is an ideal solution for electrical connections requiring flexibility and resistance to external factors. This cable, equipped with 30 cores with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², is perfect for industrial installations, control and measurement devices, and anywhere a reliable and flexible electrical installation is needed. Construction and properties

The JZ-500 cable has been designed with demanding working conditions in mind. Its construction is based on twisted copper cores, insulated with special PVC (Z 7225). The outer jacket made of PVC (TM2) provides protection against mechanical damage, moisture, oils and chemical compounds. This makes the cable resistant to twisting and can be used in harsh environmental conditions. In addition, the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.

• Chemical resistance: The cable is resistant to the action of oils and many chemical compounds, which increases its durability in industrial environments.

• Safety: It has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EG and meets the standards for self-extinguishing and flame retardancy (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1).

Applications and technical parameters

The JZ-500 cable is used in electrical installations with medium mechanical loads, where flexible connections are required. It is ideal for slowly moving systems, in dry, wet and humid rooms (excluding open air). It is an excellent choice for control and measurement devices in industrial equipment.

The cable is characterized by a rated voltage of 500 V and has 30 cores with a nominal cross-section of 0.5 mm². The core insulation is made of PVC, and the outer coating is also made of PVC. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 13.5 mm. The operating temperature range under stationary load is -40°C to +80°C, and under flexible load -15°C to +80°C.

The cable is also available in a version with a yellow-green protective core. Versions without an outer jacket and screened cables with similar parameters (F-CY-JZ, F-CY-OZ (LiY-CY), Y-CY-JB, Y-CY-JZ) are also available.
