Flexible control cable for industrial and installation applications

The JZ-500 cable is a flexible control cable designed for medium mechanical loads and connections requiring flexibility. It is ideal for industrial installations, control and measuring equipment, and anywhere a reliable cable is needed in dry, wet and humid environments (excluding outdoor applications). Made of high-quality materials, it ensures durability and safety.

Construction and properties

The cable features a solid construction – twisted copper conductors, insulated with special PVC (Z 7225), and the whole encased in an outer PVC jacket (TM2). The conductors are black with white numeric printing for easy identification, which significantly speeds up the installation process. An option with a yellow-green protective conductor or without it is also available. The cable is designed to meet stringent safety standards – it is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant (tested according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1). Additionally, it is resistant to oils and certain chemicals.

Technical parameters and scope of application

The JZ-500 cable with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² and a rated voltage of 500V is perfect for applications requiring flexibility. It can be used in temperatures from -15°C to +80°C (flexible) and from -40°C to +80°C (stationary). The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter for stationary operation. Thanks to the radiation resistance of up to 80 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 80 Mrad), the cable can be used in specific industrial conditions. The cable has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EC.
