Flexible control cable for industrial and installation applications

The JZ-500 cable is a flexible control cable designed for medium mechanical loads and connections requiring flexibility. It is perfect for dry, wet and humid rooms (but not outdoors), as well as a cable for control and measuring equipment in industrial devices. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures reliable and durable connections. A specially selected PVC mixture guarantees easy installation and high cable flexibility.

Construction and properties

The cable is constructed of multi-wire copper conductors (class 5), insulated with special PVC (Z 7225). The conductors are black with white numerical printing, which facilitates the identification of individual wires. In multi-core cables, there is a yellow-green protective conductor. The conductors are twisted in parallel, and the whole is surrounded by an outer sheath of PVC (TM2), in gray (RAL 7001). The cable is metered, which makes it easier to precisely adjust the length to the installation needs.

It is worth noting a number of important properties: the cable is oil-resistant, resistant to many chemicals, and can be used conditionally in cable ducts. The materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not interfere with painting. The PVC sheath is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant, as confirmed by tests in accordance with DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1 standards.

Operating parameters and compliance with standards

The JZ-500 cable is characterized by a rated voltage of 500 V and an allowable operating temperature of -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and -15°C to +80°C during installation. The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EG (CE marking) and DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51 standards. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter during flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter in the case of stationary installation. The insulation resistance is at least 20 MOhm x km, and the test voltage is 4000 V with a breakdown voltage of at least 8000 V. The cable exhibits radiation resistance up to 80 x 10^6 cJ/kg (up to 80 Mrad).
