Flexible control cable JZ-500 4G50 – reliability and versatility of applications

The JZ-500 4G50 cable is a flexible control cable designed for medium mechanical loads. It provides reliable connections in installations where flexibility and resistance to environmental conditions are required. The construction with numbered cores facilitates identification and connection, resulting in faster installation and servicing.

Construction and properties

This cable is distinguished by its solid construction, designed for long-term operation. It is made of copper stranded wires, class 5 (flexible multi-wire), which ensures high flexibility and resistance to bending. The core insulation is made of PVC, and the entire cable is surrounded by an outer jacket of the same material, providing protection against mechanical damage and environmental influences. The cores are black with white numerical printing, which facilitates their identification during installation. A version with a yellow-green protective core is also available.

The cable is characterized by high resistance to oils, chemicals and twisting. The materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not interfere with painting. The outer jacket meets the standards for self-extinguishing and flame retardancy (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2, IEC 60332-1).

Operating parameters and compliance with standards

The JZ-500 4G50 cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C (flexible). The rated voltage is 500V, and the core cross-section is 50 mm². The minimum bending radius for flexible operation is 7.5 x cable diameter, and for stationary operation – 4 x cable diameter. The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2006/95/EG (CE marking). The cable complies with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51.

The cable is used in dry, wet and humid rooms (not outdoors), as a cable for control and measuring equipment in industrial devices and in installations requiring flexible connections without tensile stress. It is ideal where reliability and ease of installation are important.
