Construction and properties

The JZ-500 cable is designed for demanding working conditions. Its construction is based on stranded copper conductors, insulated with special PVC (Z 7225). The conductors are twisted in parallel, and the whole is surrounded by an outer jacket of PVC (TM2), which provides resistance to mechanical damage and external factors. The conductors are black with white numerical printing, making it easier to identify individual wires. An option with a yellow-green protective conductor is also available.

Application and technical parameters

The JZ-500 cable is used in mechanically moderately loaded installations where flexibility of connections is required. It is ideal for use in slowly moving systems where tensile stresses do not occur. It can be used in dry, wet and damp rooms (but not outdoors) and as a cable for control and measuring instruments in industrial equipment.

The rated voltage (U) is 500 V, the number of cores is 50, and the conductor cross-section is 1.5 mm². The conductor insulation is made of PVC, and the outer coating is also made of PVC. The outer diameter of the cable is 24.2 mm, and the operating temperature range is from -40°C to +80°C. Additionally, the permissible ambient temperature during installation is from -15°C to +80°C. The insulation resistance is minimum 20 MOhm x km, and the test voltage is 4000 V. The minimum bending radius for flexible operation is 7.5 x cable diameter, and for stationary operation – 4 x cable diameter.
