This flexible JZ-500 black cable is the ideal solution for connections requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors. Construction and properties

The JZ-500 black cable has 12 cores with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², made of un-tinned copper, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards. Each core is insulated with special PVC (Z 7225), and the black cores are clearly marked with white numbers to facilitate identification. In addition, the cable has a yellow-green protective core, providing additional safety. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer sheath made of PVC (TM2) in black (RAL 9005).

The cable is distinguished by a number of important properties:

• Chemical resistance and oil resistance: Verified compliance with the "Technical information" table ensures safe use in harsh industrial conditions.
• UV resistance: Allows the cable to be used outdoors without fear of material degradation.
• Self-extinguishing and flame-retardant sheath: Provides a high level of fire safety, confirmed by tests DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1.
• Wide operating temperature range: The cable retains its properties at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (stationary operation) and from -15°C to +80°C (flexible operation).
• No harmful substances: Materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.

Applications and technical parameters

The JZ-500 black cable is intended for medium mechanically stressed flexible connections where tensile stresses do not occur. It is ideal for use in dry, damp and wet rooms, as well as outdoors (excluding direct laying in the ground or water). It finds application in mechanical engineering for control, signaling and measurement in production lines and conveyor belts. It meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).

The rated voltage is 500 V, it has 12 cores with a cross-section of 0.5 mm². The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 9.6 mm, and the material of the outer sheath and core insulation is polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The cable is metered, which makes it easy to precisely adjust the length to the needs of a specific application. Thanks to the numbered cores, identification of individual wires is simple and intuitive – this saves time during installation and servicing.
