Flexible control cable – reliability and durability in every application

This black, flexible JZ-500 cable with a cross-section of 0.75 mm² is an ideal solution for connections requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors. This cable, manufactured by HELUKABEL, is designed for a wide range of applications – from installations in mechanical engineering, through control and signaling systems, to connections in conveyor belts. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures safe and reliable operation in various conditions.

Construction and properties

The JZ-500 cable consists of 12 stranded copper cores, which provide it with exceptional flexibility. Each core is insulated with special PVC (Z 7225), and black cores are clearly marked with white numbers for easy identification. The protective core (in external arrangement above 3 cores) further increases safety. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer PVC TM2 coating (black RAL 9005 color), which protects the cable from mechanical damage, moisture and chemical influences. This makes the cable resistant to oil and a number of chemical compounds. In addition, the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting. The cable is also resistant to UV radiation and meets standards regarding self-extinguishing and flame retardancy (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2).

The JZ-500 cable is perfect for places exposed to medium mechanical loads, where flexible connections without tensile stress are required. It can be used both in dry, damp and wet rooms, as well as outdoors – but not directly in the ground or in water. The rated voltage is 500V and the test voltage is 4000V ensuring safe use.
