Construction and properties

The JZ-500 black cable features a solid construction. Its copper conductors, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295 class 5, BS 6360 class 5 and IEC 60228 class 5 standards, provide good conductivity and flexibility. PVC Z 7225 insulation guarantees effective protection against mechanical and electrical damage. The conductors are black with white numerical printing for easy identification, which is particularly useful during installation and maintenance. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (in configurations above 3 cores), increasing safety. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer coating made of PVC TM2 in black color (RAL 9005).

This cable is also characterized by high resistance to oil, chemicals and UV radiation – allowing its use in difficult environmental conditions. The materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance free. It meets the requirements of IEC 60332-1-2 and DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 standards in terms of fire resistance.

Application and technical parameters

The JZ-500 black cable is used in medium mechanically loaded flexible installations where tensile stresses do not occur. It works perfectly in dry, damp and wet rooms, as well as outdoors (cannot be laid directly in the ground or in water). It is widely used in mechanical industry for control, signaling and measurement in production lines and conveyor belts.

This cable is characterized by a rated voltage of 500 V and a rated conductor cross-section of 1 mm². It has 12 cores, and its outer coating is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +80°C in stationary conditions and from -15°C to +80°C during flexible operation. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 11.4 mm. Additionally, the cable is UV and oil resistant, and its cores are numbered for easy identification during installation.
