Construction and properties ensuring durability
The JZ-500 cable is characterized by a solid construction. Made of multi-strand, flexible copper core (class 5), insulated with special PVC (Z 7225), it provides good conductivity and flexibility. The cores are black with white numbers for easy identification. Additionally, the cable has an outer jacket made of PVC (TM2) in black (RAL 9005), which protects against mechanical damage and external factors. The cable is metered, making it easy to precisely adjust the length to the installation needs.
This cable is distinguished by its high resistance to oils, chemicals and UV radiation. The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting. It also has self-extinguishing and flame-retardant properties, confirmed by tests DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1. This means it meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
Technical parameters and scope of application
The JZ-500 cable is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 500 V. It can be used in dry, damp and wet rooms, as well as outdoors - but it cannot be laid directly in the ground or in water. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C (flexible). The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter for stationary operation. The cable has a protective conductor. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 11.5 mm.
