JZ-500 black cable is a flexible solution for electrical connections, especially where resistance to external factors and flexibility are required. This cable, made of high-quality materials, finds application in many industries – from mechanical engineering to construction installations.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction. It is made of multi-strand copper conductors (class 5), which provides high flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. The core insulation is made of PVC, and the outer jacket is also made of PVC, guaranteeing protection against moisture, oils and many chemicals. The cores are black with white numbering, which facilitates identification during installation. Thanks to the materials used, the cable is also resistant to UV radiation and meets standards regarding self-extinguishing and flame retardancy (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2). Importantly, the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.

Application and parameters

JZ-500 black cable is designed for medium mechanical stress in flexible connections without tensile stress. It can be used both indoors (dry, damp and wet) and outdoors – however, it should not be laid directly in the ground or in water. It will be useful in mechanical engineering for control, signaling and measurement in production lines and conveyor belts. The rated voltage of the cable is 500V, and the permissible operating temperature is -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and -15°C to +80°C (flexible). The core cross-section is 1.5 mm², and the outer diameter is approximately 9.1 mm. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter for stationary operation.

Additional information

This cable has a CE certificate, which confirms its compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. It is metered for convenient dispensing during installation. A shielded version – JZ-500-C black – is also available for applications requiring additional protection against electromagnetic interference.
