Flexible cable JZ-500 – reliability and flexibility in every application

This 5-core JZ-500 black cable is a versatile solution for electrical connections requiring high flexibility. Designed for medium mechanical loads, it is suitable for both internal and external installations. The construction using high-quality materials ensures long-lasting and safe operation.

The cable is characterized by a rated voltage of 500V and a conductor cross-section of 2.5 mm², making it ideal for powering devices and control systems. Copper conductors, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards, guarantee good conductivity and resistance to damage. PVC Z 7225 insulation provides effective protection against short circuits and overloads. Additionally, the cores are black with white numeric printing, which facilitates identification during installation and servicing.

Construction and properties

The JZ-500 cable has been designed with demanding working conditions in mind. Its construction includes:

• Multi-wire copper conductors (class 5), providing flexibility and resistance to bending.
• PVC Z 7225 insulation – a material resistant to abrasion, chemicals and UV radiation.
• Yellow-green protective conductor (in external arrangement above 3 cores) for increased safety.
• Outer jacket made of special PVC TM2, providing additional mechanical protection and resistance to weather conditions.
• Meter scale facilitating precise measurement of the required cable length.

Importantly, this cable is oil-resistant and resistant to many chemical compounds – as confirmed by appropriate tests and standards. The materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting. The cable has also passed PVC self-extinguishing and flame-retardant tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1.

The JZ-500 black cable finds wide application in:

It should be remembered that the cable cannot be laid directly in the ground or in water. The permissible ambient temperature during operation is from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C (flexible). The minimum bending radius is 4 x cable diameter for stationary operation and 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation.
