JZ-500 black cable is a flexible solution for electrical connections, especially where resistance to external factors and flexibility are required. Made from high-quality materials, this cable finds application in a wide range of installations – from industrial to domestic.
Construction and properties
The cable features a construction ensuring reliable operation in harsh conditions. Seven copper conductors with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², made of stranded wire (class 5), provide good flexibility and resistance to bending. The core insulation is made of PVC, and the outer jacket is also made of PVC, guaranteeing resistance to oils, chemicals, and UV radiation. The cores are numbered for easy identification during installation and servicing. Additionally, the materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free, and do not interfere with painting.
This cable meets the safety standards DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51 and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the low-voltage directive 2014/35/EU. The cable is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant, increasing safety of use.
Application and operating parameters
JZ-500 black is designed for medium mechanical stress in flexible connections without tensile stress. It can be used both in dry, damp, wet rooms and outdoors – however, it cannot be laid directly in the ground or in water. It is suitable for use in mechanical engineering for control, signaling and measurement in production lines and conveyor belts.
The rated voltage of the cable is 500 V, and the permissible ambient temperature during installation is -15°C to +80°C, and during operation -40°C to +80°C. The minimum bending radius for flexible operation is 7.5 times the outer diameter of the cable, and for stationary operation 4 times the outer diameter of the cable. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 9.8 mm. The cable is characterized by high radiation resistance (up to 80 x 10⁶ cJ/kg) and insulation resistance at a level of min. 20 MΩm x km. The test voltage is 4000 V, and the breakdown voltage is min. 8000 V. This ensures safe and reliable operation of the electrical installation for a long time.
