JZ-500 black cable is a flexible solution for electrical connections, especially where resistance to external factors and medium mechanical loads is required. This cable, with a cross-section of 1 mm² and a rated voltage of 500V, consists of seven copper strands, ensuring good conductivity and flexibility. The strands are black and numbered, making identification easier during installation and servicing.

Construction and properties

The cable features a solid construction – the copper strands are twisted in a way that ensures flexibility (class 5), and the PVC insulation (Z 7225) guarantees safety and durability. Additionally, the external PVC coating (TM2) protects the cable from mechanical damage, moisture, and chemical influences. It is worth noting that the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium, and substances that interfere with painting. The cable is also UV resistant.

The JZ-500 black cable meets the standards DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51 and has passed tests confirming its self-extinguishing and flame-retardant properties (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1). This ensures a high level of safety in electrical installations.

Application and operating parameters

This cable is used in the machine industry for control, signaling, and measurement in production lines and conveyor belts. It can be used both in dry and humid, wet environments, as well as outdoors – however, it should not be laid directly in the ground or in water. The operating temperature range of the cable is from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C (flexible). The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter for stationary operation. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 8.7 mm.

The JZ-500 black cable complies with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking), confirming its safety and compliance with European standards.
