Flexible cable for industrial and control applications

This 42-core JZ-600 1kV flexible cable is a robust solution for medium mechanically stressed installations where flexibility and resistance to external factors are required. The cable is designed to operate in dry, damp and wet rooms, as well as outdoors – with permanent laying. Its construction and materials ensure reliable operation in demanding industrial conditions.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a construction that ensures high durability and safety. Multi-wire copper conductors (class 5) are insulated with special PVC TI2, which guarantees good electrical insulation. The cores are numbered, which facilitates identification and minimizes the risk of errors during installation – even with the exposed part of the cable. The protective conductor is located close to the outer jacket for quick access. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer jacket made of PVC TM2, resistant to UV radiation and the action of oils and chemicals. This makes the cable perfect for harsh industrial environments such as metallurgy and steelworks.

Additionally, the cable has passed tests confirming its self-extinguishing and fire-resistant properties (VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2/ IEC 60332-1). The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting.

Its outer diameter is approximately 27.8 mm, and the operating temperature range (flexible) is -15°C to +80°C, while the operating temperature range (fixed) is -40°C to +80°C. The minimum bending radius (flexible) is 7.5 x outer diameter, and (fixed) is 4 x outer diameter.
