Flexible cable OZ-500 is a reliable solution for electrical connections requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors. This cable, made of high-quality materials, finds application in both industrial installations and residential construction.

Construction and properties

The OZ-500 cable is characterized by a construction ensuring long-term and safe operation. It is made of copper stranded conductors (class 5 – multi-wire flexible), which guarantees its flexibility and resistance to material fatigue during repeated bending. The conductors are insulated with special PVC (Z 7225), and the entire cable is surrounded by a TM2 PVC jacket, providing protection against mechanical damage, moisture and the influence of chemicals. The conductors are black with white numbering, which facilitates identification during installation.

This cable also stands out for its high resistance to UV radiation and oils and other chemicals. The materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not interfere with painting. It also has self-extinguishing and flame-retardant properties, confirmed by tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1.

Operating parameters and application

The OZ-500 cable with a cross-section of 12 x 0.5 mm² and a rated voltage of 500V is designed for medium mechanical loads in flexible electrical connections. It can be used both in dry, damp and wet rooms, as well as outdoors – provided there is no direct contact with the ground or water. It will be perfect in mechanical industry for control, signaling and measurement in production lines and conveyor belts.

The operating temperature range of the cable is from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C (flexible). The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter for stationary operation. The insulation resistance is at least 20 MΩ x km, and the test voltage is 4000 V.

The OZ-500 cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking) and the standards DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51 regarding control cables with special PVC.
