Flexible control cable OZ-500 – reliability and versatility of applications
The flexible OZ-500 cable is a proven choice for connections requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors. Made from high-quality materials, this cable is perfect for both industrial and domestic applications. Designed for medium mechanical stress, it is ideal for flexible connections without tensile stress.
Construction and parameters ensuring durability
The OZ-500 cable features a solid construction. It is made of multi-wire, flexible copper core (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295), which provides high flexibility and resistance to material fatigue. The core insulation is made of special-purpose PVC (Z 7225), and the outer sheath made of PVC TM2 guarantees protection against mechanical damage, moisture and the influence of chemicals. The cores are black with white numerical printing for easy identification, which significantly speeds up installation work. A version with a yellow-green protective core (marking G) is also available.
This cable has a nominal core cross-section of 0.75 mm² and a rated voltage of 500 V. It can be operated in a wide temperature range: from -40°C to +80°C in stationary mode and from -15°C to +80°C during flexible operation. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 10.8 mm.
Application and compliance with standards
The OZ-500 cable is widely used in mechanical engineering, especially for control, signaling and measurement in production lines and conveyor belts. It can be used in dry, damp and wet rooms, as well as outdoors – however, it should not be laid directly in the ground or in water. It is resistant to oils and many chemicals (detailed information can be found in the "Technical Information" table). In addition, the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting, and the cable is UV resistant.
It meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking) and has passed self-extinguishing and flame-retardant PVC tests in accordance with DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1 standards.
