It is made of 12 cores with a cross-section of 1.5 mm², which provides sufficient current carrying capacity for many applications. The cores are made of un-tinned copper, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295 class 5, BS 6360 class 5 and IEC 60228 class 5 – this guarantees their flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. Core insulation is made of special PVC (Z 7225), and the external protective coating of PVC TM2 (DIN VDE 0207-363-4-1/DIN EN 50363-4-1) provides resistance to abrasion, moisture and chemical substances. The cores are black with white number printing, which facilitates identification during installation. The cable has an outer diameter of approximately 13.2 mm and is supplied in meter lengths.
