Universal flexible cable for industrial and installation applications

This black, multi-strand cable OZ-500 with a cross-section of 1 mm² is a solid solution for electrical connections requiring flexibility and resistance to external factors. The cable is designed for a wide range of applications – from installations in buildings, through machines and equipment, to control and signaling systems. Its construction ensures reliable operation even in difficult conditions.

Construction and properties ensuring durability

The cable is characterized by a construction based on 12 twisted copper strands, which ensures its flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. The strands are insulated with special PVC (Z 7225), and the entire cable is surrounded by a black (RAL 9005) PVC (TM2) jacket. This combination of materials guarantees resistance to oils, chemicals and UV radiation. Additionally, the cable is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant, meeting the standards of DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1. The strands are numbered with white digits, which facilitates identification during installation and servicing. The cable is metered, allowing for precise cutting to the required length.

Scope of application and operating parameters

The OZ-500 cable is ideal for places exposed to medium mechanical loads, where flexible connections without tensile stress are required. It can be used both indoors (dry, damp and wet rooms) and outdoors. However, it is important to avoid direct burial in the ground or immersion in water. Thanks to the wide range of operating temperatures (-40°C to +80°C), the cable is suitable for use in various climatic conditions. The rated voltage U is 500V, and the minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter for stationary operation. The insulation resistance is at least 20 MΩm x km.
