Construction and properties ensuring durability
The cable features a solid construction: stranded copper conductors provide flexibility and resistance to bending. Insulation with PVC Z 7225 guarantees good electrical insulation, and the outer sheath with PVC TM2 protects against external factors. The cores are black with white numerical printing, which facilitates identification during installation and servicing. Additionally, the cable is resistant to oils, chemicals and UV radiation, which increases its durability in harsh working conditions. The materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and lacquer-inhibiting substance free.
Operating parameters and compliance with standards
The OZ-500 cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C (flexible). The rated voltage is 500V, and the conductor cross-section is 2.5 mm². The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter for stationary operation. The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking) and has passed tests confirming its self-extinguishing and flame-retardant properties in accordance with DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1 standards. The insulation resistance is minimum 20 MΩm x km at a test voltage of 4000V and a breakdown voltage of minimum 8000V.
