Universal flexible cable for various applications

This black, five-core OZ-500 cable with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² is a versatile solution for both professional installers and end-users. It provides a reliable electrical connection in a wide range of applications, from building installations to industrial machinery. The PVC construction guarantees durability and resistance to mechanical damage and external factors.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, based on multi-strand copper conductors (class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295). Each conductor is insulated with special PVC (Z 7225), and the black conductors are clearly marked with white numbers for easy identification. The conductors are arranged in a twisted parallel configuration, and the whole is surrounded by an outer PVC sheath (TM2), providing additional protection. The outer diameter of the cable is 6.8 mm. The cable is metered, making it easy to precisely adjust the length to your needs.

It is worth emphasizing that the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting. The cable is also resistant to UV radiation and oils and chemicals – which increases its durability and range of applications. The cable has passed PVC self-extinguishing and flame-retardant tests (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2), confirming its safety of use.

Application and operating parameters

The OZ-500 cable is designed for medium mechanical loads and flexible connections without tensile stress. It can be used in dry, damp and wet rooms, as well as outdoors – provided direct contact with the ground or water is avoided. It is ideal for use in mechanical engineering for control, signaling and measurement in production lines and conveyor belts.

The cable operates at a rated voltage of 500V and a test voltage of 4000V. The permissible ambient temperature during operation is from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C during installation. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter during flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter in the case of stationary installations. The insulation resistance is at least 20 MΩ x km. The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
