OZ-500 cable is a flexible solution for electrical connections, designed for both demanding industrial installations and typical construction applications. This cable, made of high-quality materials, ensures reliable operation in a wide range of temperatures and environmental conditions.

Construction and parameters

The cable is characterized by a construction based on five copper conductors with a cross-section of 2.5 mm², which provides adequate current carrying capacity for many applications. These conductors are made of un-tinned copper, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295 class 5, BS 6360 class 5 and IEC 60228 class 5 – guaranteeing their flexibility and mechanical strength. The conductor insulation is made of special PVC (Z 7225), and each conductor is marked with numbers for easy identification during installation. The whole is surrounded by an outer sheath of PVC (TM2), which provides protection against external factors and abrasion resistance. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 10.9 mm.

Application and properties

The OZ-500 cable is designed for medium mechanical load in flexible connections where there are no tensile stresses. It can be used in dry, damp and wet rooms as well as outdoors – however, it should not be laid directly in the ground or in water. It is ideal for use in mechanical engineering for control, signaling and measurement in production lines and conveyor belts. Additionally, this cable is resistant to oils, chemicals and UV radiation, which increases its durability and reliability. Made of materials that do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting – which is important in many industrial applications. It also has self-extinguishing and flame-retardant properties, confirmed by tests according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1.
