Universal flexible cable for various conditions

This black, seven-core OZ-500 cable with a cross-section of 0.5 mm² is a versatile solution for electrical connections requiring flexibility and resistance to external factors. It will work well in both industrial installations and home applications where reliability and safety are important. Construction and properties

The cable is designed for intensive use. Its construction is based on seven twisted copper cores, which provide flexibility and resistance to repeated bending. The cores are insulated with special PVC (Z 7225), and the entire cable is surrounded by a PVC (TM2) jacket, which guarantees protection against moisture, oils and chemical influences. The cores are marked with numbers, which facilitates identification during installation and servicing. In addition, the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting. The cable is UV resistant and self-extinguishing and flame retardant – it meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1.

Applications and operating parameters

The OZ-500 cable is perfect for mechanically medium-duty installations where flexible connections without tensile stress are required. It can be used both in dry, damp, wet rooms and outdoors – provided that direct contact with the ground or water is avoided. It is ideal for use in mechanical engineering, control, signaling and measurements in production lines and conveyor belts.

The rated voltage of the cable is 500 V. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +80°C in stationary mode and from -15°C to +80°C during flexible operation. The minimum bending radius is 4 x cable diameter for stationary installations and 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible applications. The core cross-section is 0.5 mm², and the outer diameter is approximately 7.3 mm. The cable exhibits radiation resistance up to 80 x 10⁶ cJ/kg (up to 80 Mrad).
