OZ-500 cable is a flexible solution for electrical connections, designed for both professional installers and end-users. This cable is characterized by high resistance to external factors and is ideal for use in various industrial and domestic environments.

Construction and characteristics

This cable features seven copper strands with a cross-section of 1 mm², twisted together, providing high flexibility. The strands are insulated with special PVC (Z 7225) and marked with white numbers for easy identification – this simplifies the work of installers during connection and servicing. The whole is surrounded by an external PVC (TM2) coating, which provides protection against mechanical damage, moisture and the influence of chemicals. The outer diameter of the cable is 8.7 mm.

The cable is available in black (RAL 9005) and is designed to operate at a rated voltage of 500V. It is worth noting the wide range of operating temperatures – from -40°C to +80°C in stationary mode and from -15°C to +80°C during flexible operation. This makes this cable suitable for demanding conditions.

The OZ-500 cable is used in medium mechanically loaded installations where flexibility and resistance to external factors are required. It is ideal for connections in dry, damp and wet rooms, as well as outdoors – provided direct contact with the ground or water is avoided. It performs perfectly in mechanical engineering, control, signaling and measurements in production lines and conveyor belts.

• UV resistance: The materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting and are resistant to UV radiation – guaranteeing long-term operation even outdoors.
• Safety: The cable meets the safety standards DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1 (test method B), which confirms its self-extinguishing and flame-retardant properties.
• Flexibility: The multi-wire strand construction provides high cable flexibility, making it easy to lay and connect even in tight spaces.
• Wire identification: Wire numbering facilitates the identification of individual conductors during installation and servicing.

The OZ-500 cable has a CE certificate, which means compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU – this is an additional confirmation of its quality and safety of use. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter for stationary operation.
