Flexible cable 1kV – reliability and safety in every application

This 5-core OZ-600 cable with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² is a versatile solution for medium-duty installations requiring flexibility. It will work both in dry and humid conditions, as well as outdoors – provided it is permanently laid. The cable is designed for a wide range of applications, from mechanical and metallurgical industries to control, signaling and measurement installations.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring long-lasting and safe operation. Made of multi-wire copper conductors (class 5), insulated with special PVC TI2, it provides good conductivity and flexibility. The cores are numbered, which facilitates identification and minimizes the risk of errors during installation. The outer jacket made of black PVC (RAL 9005) is resistant to UV radiation, oils and chemicals, which increases the durability of the cable in harsh conditions. In addition, the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.

Operating parameters and compliance with standards

The OZ-600 cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C during dynamic operation. The rated voltage is 1000 V, and the test voltage is 4000 V. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x outer diameter for flexible bending and 4 x outer diameter for fixed laying. The cable meets the standards DIN VDE 0262 and DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/ DIN EN 50525-2-51 concerning control cables with special PVC. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 12.5 mm.
