Flexible control cable for demanding applications

The OZ-600 cable is a reliable solution for flexible connections, designed for medium mechanical stress. Its construction with seven copper strands with a cross-section of 0.75 mm² provides adequate flexibility and durability. This cable is particularly recommended in places where frequent bending and movement occur, as well as in environments exposed to oils and chemicals.

Construction and properties

The key to the versatility of the OZ-600 cable is its solid construction. The copper strands are twisted in accordance with DIN VDE 0295, BS 6360 and IEC 60228 standards, which guarantees high conductivity and reliability. PVC TI2 insulation provides effective protection against mechanical damage and weather conditions. The strands are black with white numbers, which facilitates identification even after partial exposure of the cable – important during installation and servicing. The outer jacket made of special PVC TM2 is resistant to UV radiation, which extends the cable's life in outdoor applications.

Additionally, this cable is characterized by high resistance to oils and chemicals – the materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting. The cable has been tested for self-extinguishing and flame retardancy in accordance with VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1 standards.

Applications and technical parameters

The OZ-600 cable finds wide application in mechanical engineering, metallurgy, foundry and in internal installations and air conditioning systems. It will be perfect for production lines, control and signaling systems and measurements. The possibility of laying directly in the ground (with an outer diameter of ≥ 18 mm) expands the scope of its applications.

This cable is characterized by a rated voltage of 1000 V and is designed to operate at a temperature of -15°C to +80°C in flexible mode and from -40°C to +80°C in stationary mode. The strand cross-section is 0.75 mm², and the outer diameter is approximately 9.5 mm. The cable has seven strands made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation, and the outer coating is also made of PVC. Additionally, the cable is UV resistant.

This cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). It is a proven and certified product, ensuring safety and reliability in demanding working conditions.
