Universal control cable for industrial applications

This flexible UL-CSA 600 V cable, designated JZ-602 5G4 AWG12, is a reliable solution for connections in control and power systems. The cable is designed for demanding working conditions, offering both flexibility and resistance to external factors. Its construction and materials ensure long-lasting and safe operation in various industrial applications.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction, based on stranded copper conductors, which provides high flexibility and resistance to mechanical fatigue. The conductors are insulated with special PVC TI3, guaranteeing good electrical insulation and abrasion resistance. The outer jacket made of PVC YM5 further protects the cable from mechanical damage and the influence of chemicals. The gray color facilitates identification in installations. The cable has five conductors with a cross-section of 4 mm², which allows for transmitting sufficient power in various configurations. The use of a yellow-green protective conductor (standard) increases safety.

Additionally, the cable is resistant to mineral, synthetic and water-based coolants – making it an ideal choice for industrial environments exposed to contact with these substances. The materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not contain substances that interfere with painting. The cable meets stringent standards regarding flammability and flame retardancy (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1 / UL VW-1 / CSA FT1), which ensures a high level of fire safety.

Technical parameters and application

The JZ-602 cable is intended for use in control systems as a connection between the control panel and the machine or other industrial equipment. It can be laid in dry and humid rooms with medium mechanical load, but is not intended for outdoor laying. The permissible ambient temperature during operation is from -40°C to +90°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +90°C (during installation). The rated voltage U is 600 V, and the test voltage is 3000 V. The cable has UL and CSA AWM I/II A/B Style 2587 approval (conductor insulation) and CSA, which confirms its compliance with international safety standards. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 11.8 mm.
