This 18-core flexible cable JZ-500-C black, with a cross-section of 0.75 mm², is a reliable solution for connections in places where flexibility and protection against electromagnetic interference are required. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures safe and long-lasting operation in various conditions. The cable is particularly recommended for use in mechanical engineering, control and signaling systems, as well as for powering conveyor belts.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a solid construction, providing resistance to mechanical and chemical damage. Twisted copper cores, insulated with special PVC Z 7225, are black with white numbers for easy identification. Additionally, the cable has a copper braid screen, which minimizes the impact of electromagnetic interference on transmitted signals. This braid should be well connected to the terminals (e.g., cable glands) for optimal EMC shielding effectiveness. The outer sheath is made of PVC TM2, which provides resistance to abrasion and weathering. The cable is metered for convenient dispensing during installation.
Application and operating parameters
The JZ-500-C black cable is perfect for medium mechanically loaded flexible installations where tensile stresses do not occur. It can be used both in dry and humid indoor environments and outdoors - provided direct contact with the ground or water is avoided. Thanks to the wide range of operating temperatures (-40°C to +80°C), the cable is suitable for use in harsh industrial conditions. The rated voltage U is 500V, and the core/core test voltage is 4000V, which guarantees safe use. Additionally, it is resistant to UV radiation and oils and chemicals (detailed information in the "Technical information" table). The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking).
