This 25-core flexible cable JZ-500-C black is a reliable solution for medium mechanically loaded installations requiring flexibility and resistance to external factors. The cable is designed for connections in dry, damp and wet rooms, as well as outdoors – with the proviso that there is no direct contact with the ground or water. Thanks to the copper braid screen, it provides reduction of electromagnetic interference, which is particularly important in mechanical engineering, where it is used in control, signaling and measurement in production lines and conveyor belts.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction based on stranded copper conductors, insulated with special PVC (Z 7225). The conductors are black with white numerical printing for easy identification. Additionally, the cable has a yellow-green protective conductor (from 3 cores upwards), ensuring safe use. Shielding is provided by a braid of tinned copper wires covering approximately 85% of the surface. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer PVC coating (TM2), resistant to abrasion and mechanical damage. The cable is metered for convenient dispensing and installation.

It is worth noting a number of important properties: resistance to oils and chemicals, absence of silicone, cadmium and substances interfering with painting, and resistance to UV radiation. Made of self-extinguishing and flame-retardant materials (according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and DIN EN 60332-1-2/IEC 60332-1 standards) ensures a high level of safety in the event of a short circuit or fire.

User parameters and operating range

The JZ-500-C black cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (with fixed laying) and from -15°C to +80°C during installation. Its rated voltage is 500V, and the conductor cross-section is 1 mm². The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 17.5 mm. The minimum bending radius is 10x cable diameter during dynamic operation and 5x cable diameter with fixed laying. The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking) and has an Eca certificate regarding reaction to fire.
