Flexible control cable – reliability and protection in every application
This shielded flexible cable OZ-500-C is an ideal solution for applications requiring high reliability and resistance to interference. Made from high-quality materials, this cable ensures safe and efficient power transmission in various environmental conditions. The copper braid screen minimizes the impact of electromagnetic interference, which is crucial in modern electrical installations.
Construction and properties
The OZ-500-C cable features a solid construction designed for long-term operation. It consists of 12 copper conductors, each with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², insulated with special PVC (Z 7225). The conductors are twisted in parallel and marked with white numbers, making identification easier during installation and servicing. Additionally, the cable has a copper braid screen providing high effectiveness in suppressing interference. The outer jacket is made of PVC TM2, which guarantees resistance to abrasion, oils and chemicals. The cable is metered for ease of use.
It is worth noting the wide range of operating temperatures – from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -15°C to +80°C (flexible), which allows its use in harsh industrial conditions. The materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not contain substances that interfere with painting, and are also resistant to UV radiation. The cable meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51 standards and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the low-voltage directive 2014/35/EU.
Applications and benefits
The OZ-500-C cable finds wide application in mechanical engineering, control, signaling and measurement systems. It is ideal for flexible connections in places exposed to medium mechanical loads, where tensile stresses do not occur. It can be used in dry, damp and wet rooms as well as outdoors (excluding direct laying in the ground or water).
- Protection against interference: Copper braid screen provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC).
- Flexibility: Stranded conductor construction provides high cable flexibility, making it easier to install and route in tight spaces.
- Resistance: Resistant to oils, chemicals and UV radiation – guaranteeing long-term operation even in harsh conditions.
- Safety: Meets DIN VDE safety requirements and has a CE certificate.
- Conductor identification: Conductor numbering facilitates identification during installation and servicing.
- Wide temperature range: Possibility of use in a wide range of operating temperatures (-40°C to +80°C).
- Metered: Convenient dispensing during assembly.
