This black, shielded flexible cable OZ-500-C with a cross-section of 3x1.5 mm² is a reliable solution for electrical connections requiring flexibility and resistance to external factors. The cable is designed for a wide range of applications, both in internal and external installations. Thanks to the copper braid screen, it provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is crucial in modern control and automation systems.

Construction and properties ensuring durability

The cable is characterized by a solid construction using high-quality materials. Stranded copper conductors, manufactured in accordance with DIN VDE 0295 cl. 5, BS 6360 cl. 5 and IEC 60228 cl. 5 standards, guarantee good conductivity and flexibility. PVC Z 7225 insulation provides resistance to abrasion, chemicals and UV radiation. The cores are black with white numbering to facilitate identification during installation. Additionally, the cable is resistant to oils and other chemicals, which increases its durability in harsh working conditions. The shielding braid is made of tinned copper wires covering approximately 85% of the surface, ensuring effective interference reduction. The whole is surrounded by a durable outer coating made of PVC TM2 (RAL 9005), resistant to mechanical damage.

Application and compliance with standards

The OZ-500-C cable is perfect for medium mechanically loaded flexible installations where tensile stresses do not occur. It can be used in dry, damp and wet rooms as well as outdoors – however, it should not be laid directly in the ground or in water. It is ideal for use in mechanical engineering – control, signaling and measurement on production lines and conveyor belts. It meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking) and DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 standards. The cable is tested for self-extinguishing and fire resistance according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1 (method B). The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -10°C to +80°C (flexible).
