Flexible control cable for industrial and other applications

This black, shielded flexible cable OZ-500-C is a reliable solution for power transmission in various conditions. The cable is designed for medium mechanical load and flexible connections where tensile stresses do not occur. It will work both in internal and external installations, although it should not be laid directly in the ground or water.

Construction and properties ensuring durability

The cable is characterized by a solid construction. Made of seven copper conductors with a cross-section of 2.5 mm², insulated with special PVC (Z 7225), it ensures safe and efficient power transmission. The conductors are marked with white numbers, which facilitates identification during installation. Additionally, a copper braid screen minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), and the outer PVC TM2 (RAL 9005) coating protects against external factors. The cable is resistant to oil, chemicals and UV radiation. The materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free and do not interfere with painting.

Application and compliance with standards

The OZ-500-C cable finds wide application in mechanical engineering – it is ideal for control, signaling and measurement in production lines and conveyor belts. It meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51/DIN EN 50525-2-51 and the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). It is tested for self-extinguishing and flame retardancy (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1-2). The cable is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -10°C to +80°C (flexible). The rated voltage U is 500V. The minimum bending radius is 5x the cable diameter for fixed laying and 10x the diameter for flexible operation.
