Control cable shielded – reliable data transmission

This blue JE-LIYCY 2x2x0.5 cable is a specialized solution for data transmission in industrial electronics. Compliant with DIN VDE 0815, it is designed for transmitting digital signals and control in dry and humid environments, both indoors and outdoors. Its construction provides resistance to interference and stable operation in demanding conditions.

Construction and application

The cable consists of copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², insulated with PVC. Twisted in pairs and then shielded with a tinned copper braid, it minimizes electromagnetic interference. This braid, when connected to terminals on both sides (e.g. cable glands), significantly improves electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). The whole is surrounded by a durable outer PVC coating, providing mechanical protection and resistance to weather conditions.

This cable is ideal for control systems, industrial automation and anywhere reliable data transmission is required. It is not intended for high-current installations – its main task is to transmit control and information signals.
