TRONIC-CY cable is a flexible solution for data and signal transmission in control systems. This cable, with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², is characterized by high flexibility thanks to the use of a multi-strand copper conductor, class 5. The PVC insulation provides good resistance to external factors and durability.

Construction and properties

The cable consists of 32 cores, each with a cross-section of 0.5 mm², allowing for the transmission of a large number of signals in a single cable. The cores are color-coded according to DIN 47100, which facilitates identification during installation and servicing. Additionally, the cable has a braided screen that minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), ensuring stable data transmission. This screen is important in environments exposed to interference, such as industrial machinery or electronic devices.

The outer jacket made of PVC TM2 provides resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage. The cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (after installation), and during installation from -5°C to +80°C. It is also resistant to oils and is characterized by high insulation resistance (minimum 20 MOhm x km). It is worth noting that the materials used in production do not contain silicone, cadmium or substances that interfere with painting.

Application

TRONIC-CY cable is used in computer systems, control and measuring instruments, and in flexible connections where high reliability and resistance to interference are required. Due to its small outer diameter (14.7 mm), it is ideal for miniaturized circuits. It can be used in dry, damp and wet rooms (but not outdoors). Thanks to compliance with DIN VDE 0812 and the Low Voltage Directive (CE), the cable meets stringent safety and quality requirements.
