This shielded TRONIC-CY cable with a cross-section of 32x0.75 mm² is a versatile solution for use in computer systems, measuring and control equipment, and anywhere where flexibility and protection against interference are required. The cable is designed for transmitting signals and power in industrial and commercial environments. Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a solid construction that guarantees its long-term operation. Copper strands made of twisted wire provide the flexibility necessary in dynamic applications. PVC TI2 insulation protects against mechanical damage and external factors. A braided copper wire screen minimizes electromagnetic interference, which is crucial for precise data transmission. The outer jacket made of PVC TM2 provides additional protection and abrasion resistance.

The cable is oil-resistant and exhibits chemical resistance (detailed information in the "Technical Information" table – available in the manufacturer's documentation). The materials used in production are silicone-free, cadmium-free, and do not interfere with painting. The cable has passed PVC self-extinguishing and flame-retardant tests in accordance with VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2/ IEC 60332-1 and DIN VDE 0472 part 804 (method B).

Applications and parameters

The TRONIC-CY cable is used in internal installations, both in dry and humid rooms (but not outdoors). It is ideal for flexible connections where tensile stresses do not occur. Thanks to its small outer diameter (approx. 16.5 mm), it is perfect for miniaturized circuits. The cable complies with DIN VDE 0812 and has a CE certificate confirming compliance with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.

Cable parameters: the cable has a rated voltage of 500V, a core cross-section of 0.75 mm², and contains 32 cores. The operating temperature range is from -5°C to +80°C for flexible operation and from -40°C to +80°C for stationary operation. The screen is made of a copper braid providing high shielding efficiency and the cores have colored insulation to facilitate identification of individual wires. The minimum bending radius is 10 x cable diameter for flexible operation and 5 x cable diameter for stationary operation.
