Flat cable for industrial applications and installations

Construction and properties

The cable consists of multi-strand copper conductors, insulated with PVC in various colors (up to 5 conductors – colored, above 6 – black with white numbers). The conductors are arranged in parallel, and the cable also has a GN-YE protective conductor. Made of high-quality materials, it is characterized by exceptional flexibility and resistance to oils and chemicals. The flat construction allows for easy routing in areas with limited space and also enables layered installation. The minimum bending radius is approximately 10 times the cable thickness, making installation easier even in difficult conditions.

Applications and installation

This cable is widely used in mechanical engineering, conveyor systems, elevators and cranes. Thanks to its flexibility and resistance to external factors, it is ideal for applications requiring frequent bending and movement. During installation, remember to transport the reels properly – they should be equipped with a flange and placed vertically. Cable routing starts with the smallest cross-section, gradually building a layer with cables of larger dimensions. It is also important to ensure symmetrical load distribution. For cables with a cross-section below 2.5 mm², the reduced mechanical strength should be taken into account when calculating the load.
