Flat cable for industrial and machine applications

This flat PVC cable with colored cores is a reliable solution for powering devices in demanding conditions. Construction and properties

The cable features a solid construction ensuring long-lasting and safe operation. It is made of multi-strand copper cores, surrounded by PVC insulation, and the whole is covered with an outer PVC jacket. This combination of materials guarantees resistance to mechanical and chemical factors and provides the flexibility necessary in dynamic installations. Parallel arranged cores facilitate unwinding and laying the cable, and color-coded cores (up to 5 cores) simplify the identification of individual wires during installation and servicing. Additionally, the presence of a protective conductor (G) ensures additional safety.

This cable stands out for its exceptional resistance to oils and chemicals, which is particularly important in industrial environments. It also has good properties related to flame retardancy – it meets the IEC 60332-1-2 standard. The cable's flexibility allows it to be laid in places with limited access and a minimum bending radius (approx. 10 x cable thickness).

Parameters and application

The cable has a cross-section of 16 mm², rated voltage of 450/750 V and is designed to operate at temperatures from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +70°C (flexible). Thanks to these parameters, it finds application in a wide range of applications where reliability and durability of electrical connections are required. Remember to maintain load symmetry when laying flat cables with a small cross-section (below 2.5 mm²) to avoid damage.
