PVC power cable NYY-J – reliability and safety in every installation

This black NYY-J power cable with a cross-section of 1x120 mm² is a solid solution for transmitting energy in various applications. Made of high-quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC) both as wire insulation and external coating, it provides durability and resistance to external conditions. The cable is designed in accordance with DIN VDE 0276-603 / HD 603 S1 / IEC 60502, which guarantees its compliance with European safety standards.

The NYY-J cable is characterized by a single stranded copper conductor of class 1, which facilitates installation and provides flexibility. Wire identification is done using colors, in accordance with DIN VDE 0293-308, which facilitates correct connection. It is designed to operate in a temperature range from -40°C to +70°C, both during operation and installation (from -5°C to +50°C), making it suitable for use in harsh environmental conditions. The rated voltage of the cable is 1000 kV (U) and 600 kV (U0).

Application and construction

This cable is ideal for use in the ground, outdoors, in concrete, as well as in dry and damp indoor spaces. It will also work in cable ducts, power plants, industry and switchgear. Its versatility allows it to be used in local networks without fear of mechanical damage - provided there is no direct threat. The cable construction includes a PVC-insulated copper conductor and an external PVC coating of type DMV5, providing additional protection against external factors. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 20.5 mm.
