Flexible cable for industrial and robotics applications

This 14-core JZ-HF 0.5mm² cable is a flexible solution for connections in machines, devices and robotics. It is designed for environments requiring frequent bending and medium mechanical stress. Its construction ensures reliability in applications where standard cables might fail.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by a construction providing exceptional flexibility. It consists of multi-strand copper conductors (class 6 according to DIN VDE 0295), insulated with special PVC (Z 7225). The cores are twisted in parallel and secured with a fleece braid, and the whole is covered with an outer PVC coating (TM5). The cores are numbered for easy identification during installation. A version with a protective conductor (G) or without it (x) is also available.

This cable meets the standards DIN VDE 0285-525-2-51 / DIN EN 50525-2-51 and is compliant with the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU (CE marking). The materials used in production are free of silicone, cadmium and substances that interfere with painting. The PVC coating is self-extinguishing and flame-retardant, tested according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1-2 standards. Additionally, the cable is oil-resistant (DIN VDE 0473-811-404 / DIN EN 60811-404).

Operating parameters and temperature range

The JZ-HF cable ensures safe operation in a wide temperature range: from -40°C to +80°C in stationary mode and from -10°C to +80°C during flexible operation. The rated voltage is 500V, and the test voltage is 4000V. The minimum bending radius is 7.5 x cable diameter during flexible operation and 4 x cable diameter during fixed installation. The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 9.8 mm.
