Pflex 121 cable (4G10+(2x1.5)+(2x1)) orange, halogen-free, shielded 19841
Highly durable chain cable for use in harsh conditions.
The HELUKABEL Pflex 121 cable is a specialized, shielded chain cable designed for operation in demanding industrial and marine environments. It is characterized by high resistance to oils, UV radiation and low temperatures, making it an ideal solution for applications exposed to extreme conditions. The polyurethane outer jacket provides long-lasting protection and reliability.
Construction and properties
The Pflex 121 cable stands out with its advanced construction, which guarantees high flexibility and mechanical strength. It consists of multi-strand copper conductors class 6, surrounded by a special insulation. Power and control cores are twisted in pairs and arranged in parallel, minimizing electromagnetic interference. In addition, a copper braid screen provides effective protection against external interference. The whole is wrapped in a durable polyurethane (PUR) jacket, resistant to abrasion and mechanical damage.
- Halogen-free: meets DIN VDE 0482 part 267 / DIN EN 50267-2-1 / IEC 60754-1 standards, increasing safety in case of fire.
- Oil resistance: compliant with IEC 60092-350, Annex F - ideal for use in industrial environments exposed to oil contact.
- Low temperature: maintains flexibility even at -40°C (IEC 60092-350, Annex E).
- Shielding: copper braid effectively reduces electromagnetic interference (EMC).
- Mechanical strength: cable construction provides high resistance to bending and stretching, which is crucial in chain applications.
- UV resistance: materials used in production are resistant to UV radiation, ensuring long cable life.
Applications and parameters
The Pflex 121 cable is primarily used in power systems for machines and equipment operating in harsh industrial conditions and in marine applications. It will work perfectly in installations exposed to movement, bending and contact with oils and chemicals. The cable is metered for ease of installation and available in orange (RAL 2003) for easy identification. The number of cores is four, and the core cross-section is 10 mm² plus two wires of 1.5 mm² and two of 1 mm². The outer diameter of the cable is approximately 22 mm, and the outer jacket material is polyurethane (PUR). The rated voltage is VDE U0/U 0.6/1 kV and UL 1000 V, and the minimum bending radius is 7.5 times the cable diameter.
This cable is a solid choice for both professional installers and end users looking for a reliable solution for demanding applications.
