This shielded twisted pair cable RE-2Y(ST)Yv is a solid solution for data transmission in control and digital transmission systems. Construction and properties

The cable consists of 32 conductors, divided into 16 pairs, each with a cross-section of 0.75 mm². The conductors are made of stranded copper, which ensures flexibility and ease of installation. Twisted pairs minimize the risk of electromagnetic interference, and an additional aluminum foil screen further strengthens protection against external interference. The whole is surrounded by a durable PVC coating, which protects against mechanical damage and weathering.

The cable is characterized by a wide operating temperature range – from -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and from -5°C to +50°C (flexible), which allows it to be used in various environmental conditions. The operating voltage of the cable is 300V. The use of polyethylene (PE) as the insulation material for the conductors ensures good electrical insulation and long-term reliability.
