The cable consists of 48 cores, divided into 24 pairs, each with a cross-section of 0.75 mm². Multi-wire conductors of class 2 provide flexibility and facilitate assembly. Twisted pairs minimize electromagnetic interference, and the shielding foil further protects the signal from external interference. The reinforced outer jacket made of PVC increases resistance to mechanical damage and ensures long-term operation. Thanks to this, the cable performs well in demanding industrial environments and in building installations.

Application and compliance with standards

The RE-2Y(ST)Yv cable is intended for permanent internal and external installations, including underground, in damp and wet rooms. It can be used in control systems, industrial automation and wherever reliable data transmission is required. It meets the Eca standard for reaction to fire classification, guaranteeing safety of use. The cable is tested according to VDE 0482-332-1-2 and DIN EN 60332-1-2/ IEC 60332-1, confirming its high quality and compliance with European standards. The permissible operating temperature range is -40°C to +70°C (stationary) and -5°C to +50°C (flexible), allowing its use in various environmental conditions.
