Universal power cable for demanding applications
This flexible H07RN-F power cable is a solid solution for both professional installers and end-users. The cable is designed to operate in harsh conditions, offering reliability and safety in a wide range of applications. Made from high-quality materials, it ensures long-lasting performance even with intensive use.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a construction compliant with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-21, DIN EN 50525-2-21, BS 7919 and IEC 60245-4 standards. Its construction is based on multi-strand copper conductivity (stranded wire class 5 according to DIN VDE 0295), insulated with EI4 rubber (DIN VDE 0207-363-1 / DIN EN 50363-1). The cores are color-coded (up to 5 cores) or numbered (from 6 cores), and in the case of 3-core and more cables, a yellow-green protective core is present. The whole is surrounded by a special cross-linked EM2 outer jacket, providing resistance to external factors. The cable is available in black color.
The flexibility of the cable allows for easy routing and connection, and the operating temperature range from -30°C to +60°C (flexibly from -25°C to +60°C) guarantees its functionality in various environmental conditions. The permissible conductor temperature is +60°C, ensuring safe operation under high loads. The cable is designed for operating voltage U/U 450/750 V (in the case of secured installations laid permanently U/U 600/1000 V) and maximum working voltage up to 825V for alternating current and 1238V for direct current.
Applications and advantages
The H07RN-F cable finds wide application in craft workshops, brewing boilers, hot plates, power tools (drills, circular saws) and on construction sites. It will also be useful on temporary construction sites and in residential barracks, as well as for direct connection of machine elements and hoists – including cranes and derricks. Thanks to its resistance to atmospheric factors, oils and meeting the requirements of fire behavior tests (DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 / DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1), this cable guarantees safe use even in demanding conditions. Additionally, it has insulation resistance to ozone according to DIN VDE 0473-396 / DIN EN 50396. The minimum bending radius is approx. 4 x cable diameter for flexible bending and 7.5 x cable diameter for moving laying.
