Rubber power cable H07RN-F 5G2.5 mm² black, conductor identification according to DIN VDE 0293-308 37062
H07RN-F cable is a versatile solution for powering devices requiring flexibility and resistance to harsh conditions. This 5-core cable with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² is designed for professional and domestic applications where reliability and safety are paramount.
Construction and application
The cable is manufactured in accordance with DIN VDE 0285-525-2-21, DIN EN 50525-2-21, BS 7919 and IEC 60245-4 standards. Its construction is based on stranded copper conductors, EI4 rubber insulation and a durable, cross-linked EM2 rubber outer jacket. This combination provides high flexibility, abrasion resistance, weather resistance and oil resistance. This cable is ideal for use in areas exposed to mechanical damage and changing weather conditions.
It finds application in craft workshops, construction sites, industry and anywhere a reliable power cable is needed. It is perfect for connecting power tools (drills, circular saws), construction machines and heating devices. It can also be used to power mobile devices and temporary electrical installations.
Advantages and technical parameters
The H07RN-F cable is characterized by a wide operating temperature range – from -30°C to +60°C (flexible) and -30°C to +60°C (stationary). The rated voltage is 450/750V, and in protected fixed installations even 600/1000V. This allows it to be safely used in a variety of electrical applications.
- Flexibility: Construction with stranded copper conductors ensures easy routing and installation.
- Durability: Rubber outer jacket protects against mechanical damage, moisture and UV radiation.
- Chemical resistance: The cable is resistant to oils and greases.
- Safety: Compliance with European standards guarantees a high level of safety.
- Core identification: Colored cores (up to 5 cores) or black with white numbering (from 6 cores) facilitate correct cable connection. The protective conductor is yellow-green.
- Minimum bending radius: Flexible approx. 4 x cable diameter; laid movably 7.5 x cable diameter; wound on a drum 5 x cable diameter – this ensures comfortable work and minimizes the risk of cable damage during installation.
Additionally, the cable has passed fire safety tests in accordance with DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2 and DIN EN 60332-1-2 / IEC 60332-1, which confirms its safety in the event of a fire hazard.
