This flexible PUR cable 3x2x0.25+2x0.5 is designed to operate in demanding conditions, especially in cable carriers and automation systems. Its construction and materials guarantee high reliability and long service life, even with intense bending and movement. The cable is ideal for use in industry, machinery and automation devices where resistance to external factors and flexibility are required.

Construction and properties

The cable stands out with its advanced construction, which ensures optimal electrical and mechanical parameters. Copper strands, twisted according to DIN VDE 0295 cl. 6, BS 6360 cl.6 and IEC 60228 cl.6 standards, guarantee good conductivity and flexibility. Polypropylene insulation provides effective protection against damage. A copper braid screen (approx. 85% coverage) minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC), which is crucial in control and measurement systems. The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) is characterized by high resistance to abrasion, oils, hydrolysis, UV radiation and chemicals – this translates into durability and safety of use in harsh industrial conditions. Additionally, it is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire.

Applications and benefits

The TOPGEBER512 PUR cable is primarily used as an encoder cable and for feedback connections in servo drives and positioning systems. It also works well in connections of tachometers, brakes and pulse generators. Thanks to its low capacitance (approx. 70 nF/km), it ensures precise signal transmission without interference. It is compatible with SIEMENS (6FX 8008...) and BOSCH REXROTH (INK INDRAMAT) standards, which facilitates its integration with various automation systems. The flexible construction allows it to be used in cable chains while maintaining a minimum bending radius of approx. 10 x cable diameter during operation and 6 x cable diameter when laid permanently. The cable meets the requirements of the Low Voltage Directive CE (2014/35/EU) and has UL/CSA certificates confirming its compliance with safety standards. The available outer diameter is 7.4 mm and the rated voltage U is 300V.
