This highly flexible, green TGEBER512 cable with a cross-section of 4x2x0.25 mm² is the ideal solution for use in cable trays, especially where high reliability and resistance to external factors are required. Designed for demanding industrial applications, it is perfect for control systems, machine power supplies, and encoder connections. Its construction provides not only flexibility but also long-lasting protection against mechanical damage and environmental influences.

Construction and properties

The cable is characterized by an advanced construction using high-quality materials. Copper strands twisted according to DIN VDE 0295 class 6, BS 6360 class 6 and IEC 60228 class 6 ensure excellent conductivity and mechanical strength. The insulation made of special polypropylene guarantees safety and reliable operation. A fleece covering facilitates cable routing in tight spaces, and a screen of copper wires (approx. 85% coverage) minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMC). The whole is surrounded by a durable outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR), which is resistant to abrasion, oils, hydrolysis, microbes and UV radiation. Additionally, PUR is halogen-free, which increases safety in the event of a fire.

Application and benefits

The TGEBER512 cable is designed to operate in a wide temperature range – from -40°C to +80°C (stationary) and from -30°C to +80°C during dynamic operation – making it suitable for use in harsh industrial conditions. It is compatible with Siemens (6FX 8008...) and Bosch Rexroth (INK INDRAMAT) standards, confirming its high quality and reliability. Low capacitance (approx. 70 nF/km) makes the cable ideal for transmitting high-frequency signals in encoder systems and feedback clutches.
