Servo PUR cable for cable carriers acc. to UL/CSA TOPSERV® 113 PUR (4G2,5+(2x1)) mm² orange 74507
Flexible cable for use in motors and servo drives
This specialized TOPSERV® 113 PUR 4G2,5+2x1 cable is a reliable solution for routing cables in demanding industrial applications. Designed for both fixed and moving connections, it is perfect for motors, servo drives and robotics. The cable's construction, compliant with UL AWM Style 21223 or UL AWM Style 20234, CSA AWM and VDE standards, guarantees safety and performance.
Construction and properties
The cable is characterized by a solid construction ensuring long-term operation. Multi-strand copper conductors of class 6 are insulated with halogen-free polypropylene. A braid of copper wires provides an effective screen, minimizing electromagnetic interference. Additionally, the cable has an outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR), which is resistant to abrasion, oils, hydrolysis and UV radiation. A stabilizing filler between the power conductors provides additional mechanical protection.
This cable also features:
- Wide operating temperature range: from -40°C to +80°C (flexible) and from -50°C to +90°C (stationary).
- Low adhesion of the PUR jacket: this facilitates cable routing and minimizes the risk of damage during movement.
- DESINA® compliance: confirms the high quality of materials and manufacturing processes.
- Resistance to chemicals: including mineral oils, greases, coolants and alkalis.
- Self-extinguishing and flame-retardant PUR jacket: meets the requirements of DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2, DIN EN 60332-1-2 and IEC 60332-1.
Applications and benefits
The TOPSERV® 113 PUR cable is ideal for applications requiring high flexibility and resistance to external factors. It finds application in:
- Motors and servo drives: connection of power conductors with control conductors enables simultaneous provision of braking and thermal protection functions.
- Robotics: high durability and resistance to mechanical loads guarantee reliable operation in dynamic applications.
- Industrial automation: shielding minimizes electromagnetic interference, ensuring precise transmission of control signals.
- Cable chains: the cable is designed to operate in chain systems in accordance with installation principles.
- Industrial machines and equipment: everywhere where high quality and reliability of electrical connections are required.
This ensures that the cable not only provides safe and efficient operation of devices, but also minimizes the risk of downtime and costly repairs. Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is optimized by the bilateral contact of the copper braid with the terminals (e.g. cable glands).
