Servo PUR cable for cable carriers acc. to UL/CSA TOPSERV® 121 PUR (4G4+2x(2x1)) mm² orange 74094
Flexible cable for cable carriers – reliability in servo applications
This specialized TOPSERV® 121 cable, with an outer diameter of 16.2 mm, is designed for use in cable carriers and is characterized by exceptional flexibility and resistance to external factors. The cable combines power and control cores, making it an ideal solution where simultaneous braking and thermal protection are required. Its construction ensures reliable operation in demanding industrial conditions, such as robotics or advanced production processes.
Construction and properties for professionals
The cable consists of four power cores with a cross-section of 4 mm² and two control cores. The copper cores are stranded (class 6), guaranteeing high flexibility and resistance to material fatigue during repeated bending. The core insulation is made of polypropylene, and the whole is surrounded by a screen made of tinned copper wire braid, providing effective protection against electromagnetic interference (EMC). The outer jacket made of polyurethane (PUR) is resistant to abrasion, oils, hydrolysis and UV radiation. In addition, PUR provides low adhesion, making it easier to route the cable in tight spaces.
This cable meets the stringent DESINA® standards, confirming its high quality and safety of use. The materials used in production are silicone, cadmium and paint-inhibiting substance-free. The cable is also resistant to cleaning and disinfecting agents compliant with ECOLAB®.
Applications and technical parameters
The TOPSERV® 121 cable is used in servo motors and in applications requiring connection of power and control signals. It is ideal for use in robotics, toolmaking, automation and machine construction. Thanks to its construction and properties, it can be used in both fixed and moving installations (in cable chains). The cable is characterized by a rated voltage of 1000 V and a temperature range from -40°C to +80°C for fixed installations and from -30°C to +80°C for flexible applications. The effectiveness of electromagnetic shielding is ensured by the shielding braid made of tinned copper wires. The outer jacket is orange (RAL 2003) for easy identification. The power cores are marked with black printing U/L1/C/L+, V/L2, W/L3/D/L, and the control cores with black numbers 5+6 and 7+8. The minimum bending radius is approximately 7.5x cable diameter for flexible applications and 4x cable diameter for fixed installations.
